Preparing for Your Appointment
If you’re visiting Physio Resolutions for the first time, this page explains what to expect from your appointment, how the process works and the fees involved. If you have any questions, our team will be happy to help.
Your First Appointment
Your initial appointment allows us to understand your symptoms, assess the problem and begin planning treatment.
Our goal is to give you a clear understanding of what’s happening and how we can help you move forward.
During the session your physiotherapist will:
- Discuss your symptoms, medical history and activity levels
- Carry out a thorough physical assessment
- Explain the likely cause of your pain or injury
- Begin treatment where appropriate
- Provide advice and exercises to support recovery
Most appointments last around 45 minutes.
Follow-Up Appointments
Follow-up sessions focus on progressing treatment and supporting your recovery.
Depending on your condition, treatment may include:
- Hands-on physiotherapy techniques
- Exercise-based rehabilitation
- Advice on activity modification
- Specialist treatments where appropriate
Follow-up appointments are typically 30–45 minutes.
